Thank You for visiting Omega Gamma Pi’s website. We are a relatively young fraternity on campus, having only recently celebrated our fourth birthday. Establishing a fraternity and keeping it going in its early years is a challenging task. This task was met by the excellent team of our National Founding Fathers and by the motivated students which they recruited. Due to the motivated group of individuals working for the betterment of the fraternity, Omega Gamma Pi has established itself in the Greek Community at The University of Michigan.
During our time on campus, we have solidified our devotion to cardiovascular research, partnership with children in the community, and motivation to aid natural disasters with our three major philanthropic events: Throw For Bo Flag Football Tournament, The Carnival at Wing Lake Developmental Center, and Wolverines for Haiti, respectively. I am proud to say that we have enjoyed collaborating with our fellow Multicultural Greek Council organizations, winning Greek Week 2010 with Team Queen, and being honored as the 2010 MGC Chapter of the Year, just three years after we were founded.
During the upcoming year of Omega Gamma Pi, we will face many challenges. As we continue to create new ways to uphold our core principles of brotherhood, academic enrichment, and community service, we must successfully recruit and guide new Brothers while we see 14 Seniors graduate. This year we must strive to surpass our successes of the previous few years, while maintaining strong relationships with our friends in MGC and building new ones within the entire Greek community at Michigan. We will do so through our major philanthropic event, the Throw For Bo Flag Football Tournament, our many internal events and our participation in Greek Week with Delta Chi and Sigma Kappa.
